Mentorship with me is a space and time that you have reserved and prioritized to invest in yourself and align with your purpose. Our work together is highly customized to meet you where you are and to match your comfort level.

I serve as your mentor, teacher, spiritual counselor, life coach, sounding board, nutritionist and holistic healthcare practitioner - all rolled into one. You have access to an all-inclusive and large toolkit of services, built from my lifetime of study, observation, knowledge, and practice.

In a nutshell, you show up ready and willing to do the courageous work of transforming an area(s) of your life. I do the rest to support you during and in between sessions.

What’s Included in the Embodhied Awareness Mentorship:

Committed Care 

3 to 12 months of weekly 1-hour sessions. You commit to your well-being and the work. I commit to anchor and support your transformation.

A Mindfulness Approach

To shift your awareness to the present and what is doable and away from being stuck in the past or future. We also uncover, explore, and work to resolve limiting beliefs that no longer serve you.

Lifestyle Design 

That focuses on supportive, doable daily and seasonal routines and encourages you to create boundaries that protect and nourish your time and energy.

Spiritual Counseling

To provide a sounding board as you untangle the dynamics of work, relationships, family life, stress, goals, spiritual path - you name it. This time also helps you uncover your purpose and the values that support it.

Nervous-System Regulation

On-going integration of Reiki, guided meditations, meditation training, breathing exercises, yoga nidra meditations, and other practices to help calm and build resilience in your nervous system.

Ongoing Email or Text Support

During the business week, for when you have a question , an epiphany, or need an encouraging boost.

Comprehensive Ayurvedic Intake

To assess your unique mind-body type, imbalances, stressors and root causes for any symptoms (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual). This assessment provides you with the owner’s manual to your life and also helps you navigate your strengths and vulnerabilities.

Targeted Nutritional Guidance and Support

Based on the foods and herbs best suited for your unique body and the season. Includes support with quick, easy-to-make recipes, if needed.

Herbal Guidance and Sourcing

To educate you (and your care team) on Ayurvedic herbs that can support your physical or emotional wellbeing.  These herbs have been used for millenia and are backed by modern scientific research. For your convenience and at your request, I can purchase supportive herbs for you from reputable and safe sources at a pass-through cost.

Gardening or “Walk and Talk” Sessions

To help you reconnect with nature by growing fresh herbs, vegetables, or plants or by walking in your favorite outdoor space. Remember, all of our sessions don’t have to be conducted inside, seated in a chair. We can hold them via phone (or in-person, if local) outside in the garden or while on a walk in nature.

Healthcare Team Integration

To keep your physician(s), dietician, therapist, etc. in the loop of your work for seamless support.

Is the 1:1 Embodhied Awareness Mentorship a good fit?

This mentorship is for you if:

  • You are teachable and not resistant or defensive when learning new things.

  • You are ready for change and willing to do the sometimes tough and courageous work of creating space in your life to nurture yourself and your dreams.

  • You are self-aware, introspective, and willing to honestly look at your eating, lifestyle, and thought patterns - the good, the bad, and the ugly - to see what is holding you back.

  • You are willing to follow diet and lifestyle recommendations to address these old patterns to which you are attached but that are negatively impacting your well-being.

  • You respect time (mine, yours and my other clients’) and are on-time, ready to work. And you are willing and able to make the time to meet regularly.

  • You are at a minimum open to other spiritual traditions and teachings, because you are a seeker and know there is value in perspectives other than your own.

  • You have the financial resources to commit to the program without the distraction of financial stress.

Now, in full transparency…

The 1:1 Embodhied Awareness Mentorship is NOT for you if:

  • You are looking only for symptom management or quick remedies.  Symptom management does not address root cause(s) or symptom progression.  Once you stop the remedy, the symptoms return.  Also, it didn’t take you a week to become imbalanced, so don’t expect to be “fixed” in a week. Real healing takes at least a month for each year you have been out of balance.

  • You cannot make time to meet once a week (or biweekly) or struggle with time management.  This program works because of the anchor of these regular touch points and the regulation of routine on the nervous system (yours and mine).

  • You struggle with commitment.  This program is based on trust and the commitments you make to yourself and the ones we make to each other. I will not do the work for you.

  • You are not interested in changing harmful patterns related to sleep, what you consume (food, entertainment, the company you keep), lifestyle, attitudes or belief patterns.  If you want to see progress, you must align your actions and thoughts to work with your mind-body and not against it.

  • You are not at least open to belief systems that are “different” from the one(s) you were raised in.  Dogma is based on fear and doesn’t have a place in wellness. Fear is not the foundation on which we build wellness.  Fear creates more stress and acts as a barrier to intuition or your True Self.

  • You cannot accept responsibility for your choices and actions.  When we can accept that our choices and actions have contributed to our current situation, we can forgive ourselves, move forward and heal.

  • You are hoping to fix someone else in your life versus working on yourself and what you CAN control. The work of your life is YOU. For moral and ethical reasons, we cannot impose what we want on another person. That work is THEIR work. But you can work on yourself, how you respond to others, and whether they still deserve a place in your life and vise versa.

  • You have untreated deep trauma, depression, suicidal ideation, PTSD, past abuse (physical, emotional, sexual), eating disorders, or mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, etc.) for which you are not currently working with and/or have never worked with a mental health professional. These conditions are out of my scope of practice, and my practice is not a replacement for licensed mental health care.

In the first 30-days if you (or I) feel that the mentorship is not a good fit, I will reimburse fees paid to that point, less any sessions already rendered. I do not wish for you to feel “stuck” in a program that doesn’t feel right for you (or me). Prior to working together, I will send you a Service Agreement that fully outlines the boundaries, policies, and expectations for our time together. Along with the free 45-minute discovery session, which serves as a mutual interview, this agreement gives you the opportunity to know/agree to what to expect before paying for any sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The 1:1 Embodhied Awareness mentorship is for individuals who are ready to make the commitment to transform an area(s) in their lives.  Even though other people tell you to accept your situation the way it is, something deep inside you is whispering:

    • There is more to your life than the grind you are in

    • Your body is not broken

    • It is time to move past the obstacles and live as your authentic self. 

    You are serious about committing to and investing in your well-being; you just need support and an anchor in your life as you make the necessary changes to live your best life.

  • That is perfectly okay. What matters is that you feel a strong calling to bring balance back into your life, because it will take some courage at times. 

    Yes, I am a spiritual teacher.  However, I am adept at breaking down concepts and sharing them in a way that meets you where you are, with compassion and without judgment.

  • No. Women are statistically more likely to seek wellness help, so by default, they are my core clientele. However, I will accept a qualifying client, regardless of their gender.

  • You can expect a very supportive space, with boundaries, and to be seen. I have been described as a listener and someone who offers keen insights. Be prepared to share truthfully and to answer thought-provoking questions.

    What is different about my approach is that I will not tell you what to do after the initial intake, send you on your way to figure out your wellness plan, and see you every month or so (if you don’t first give up). Personally, I have struggled with that approach as both a client/patient and a practitioner. Rather, my approach (and preference) is to be a supportive presence in your life. As your mentor and anchor, I will:

    • Teach (not just tell) you valuable skills to feel better,

    • Steady and encourage you as you practice and progress with these skills, 

    • Mentor you on setting doable goals to improve your life and stress levels,

    • Remind you to pause, rest, and receive,

    • Compassionately (yet firmly) call you out when you need it,

    • Act as a sounding board as you seek clarity on purpose and direction, and

    • Tell you things are never as bad as they seem…to keep going.

  • The answer to this question is going to feel uncomfortable, even unsatisfying. The reason is because what you get out of our time together depends almost entirely on what you put in, also known as karma or cause and effect. 

    I see you as you are: pure divine potential able to do what you set your mind and willpower to achieve and to become in this life. I do my best to mentor you while you bridge your potential and your present circumstances.

    The thing is that I cannot and will not do the work for you. Nor will I take responsibility for your work when things get scary or uncomfortable. And transformative change can get VERY uncomfortable.

    I cannot make you take advantage of all the resources I present to you. I cannot heal or fix you.

    What I can do is create the space and give you the tools to enable transformation to occur. However, understand the action of that transformation was, is, and will always be in your hands.

    This transformation is your important work to do and the challenge that you are called to overcome at this time in your life.  We develop resilience only through overcoming, not avoiding, obstacles.

  • Sharing what I have learned with others in a supportive and healing way is the work of my life. I have spent many years of my life suppressing putting myself out there and being visible and accessible to assist others outside of my immediate circle. But, suppressing this work took/takes a negative toll on my nervous system. This work of supporting others is a powerful force that wants expression in the world at this time.

    So, as part of my own transformative journey, I am showing up for you and others, not out of expectation for anything in return. Rather, I am in humble service to this higher purpose.
